Flavour Physics: Old problems, recent hopes and challenges”

<!--HTML--><p>These lectures provide an introduction to flavour physics, with special emphasis on the subject of Lepton Flavour Universality (LFU).&nbsp;We review in particular the present hints &nbsp;of LFU in B decays, discussing their reliability from a theoretical point of view, their phenomenological interest, and how they fit in the general search for physics beyond the Standard Model.&nbsp;Future prospects in this field, in view of higher statistics and new experiments, and the connections &nbsp;with high-pT physics, will also be discussed.</p>
