Sumario:A subset of results of the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations on soft QCD obtained in 2018 and 2019 is presented. After a brief outline of double parton scattering phenomenology, new results of ATLAS and CMS are presented in p+p collisions at 8 and 13 TeV respectively. The analysis of ATLAS was performed using events containing four charged leptons, while the CMS collaboration presented the first evidence for double parton scattering in the same-sign WW channel. For both analyses no significant deviations between the measurement and model predictions were observed.Subsequently, two CMS analyses exploiting the very forward CASTOR calorimeter are discussed. After a succinct introduction of CASTOR, an analysis of the forward energy flow in p+p collisions at 13 TeV and the forward jet-energy spectrum in proton-lead collisions at a proton-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV is presented.
