description This thesis is a description of shift scheduler. The system is a database and an application to manage scheduling shifts in the NA61/SHINE experiment. The main goal of this system is persistent staffing of the shift crews during data taking runs. A web application has been developed and implemented in CERN infrastructure in May 2018. Reservations have been carried out for 2018 runs successfully. LAMP stack implemented for backend with Python Pyramid to serve WSGI application with mod_ssl for encryption. Frontend application implemented with React + Flux, bundled with webpack. Authentication implemented with OAuth2 server in CERN infrastructure.
