Uncertainty of the delivered luminosity in years 2017 and 2018 due to stability and linearity is discussed. CMS emittance scans are employed to monitor stability of the absolute calibration and to derive non-linearity correction. They are very powerful and employed from 2017 on the regular bases. Also mu-scans as alternative for linearity cross check are presented. |
