Sumario: | A short end of fill experiment, aiming at evaluating the variation of the emittance growth rate on operational beams in collision when reducing the bandwidth of the transverse damper, is described in this note. The results of the experiments are not conclusive as the feedback loop was accidentally driven unstable, leading to a loss of the beam. This instability highlighted the need for higher acceptance filters to operate with allow bandwidth and high gain for noise mitigation. |
