Search for heavy resonances in the $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\ell^{+}\ell^{-}$ and $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\nu \bar{\nu}$ channel using proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13~TeV using the ATLAS detector

This poster reports a search for heavy scalars decaying into a pair of $Z$ bosons encompassing $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\ell^{+}\ell^{-}$ and and $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\nu \bar{\nu}$ final states. $\ell$ can either be an electron or muon and proton-proton collision data have been used at a centre of mass of 13~T...

Sumario:This poster reports a search for heavy scalars decaying into a pair of $Z$ bosons encompassing $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\ell^{+}\ell^{-}$ and and $\ell^{+}\ell^{-}\nu \bar{\nu}$ final states. $\ell$ can either be an electron or muon and proton-proton collision data have been used at a centre of mass of 13~TeV. An integrated luminosity of 36.1~fb$^{-1}$ is used collected with the ATLAS detector between 2015 - 2016 at the Large Hadron Collider. Different mass ranges for the hypothetical resonances are considered, depending on the final state and model. The different ranges span between 200~GeV and 2000~GeV. The results are interpreted as upper limits on the production cross section of a spin-0 or spin-2 resonance.
