An upper limit on the invisible branching ratio of the Higgs Boson of $\mathcal{B}_{H\to\text{inv}} < 26\% (17\%^{+7\%}_{-5\%})$ is observed (expected) at a confidence level of 95\% in the combination of Run 1 and Run 2 searches. Higgs portal models connect the SM to Dark Matter (DM) via the Higgs boson as mediating particle. The Higgs portal framework is used to translate the obtained exclusion limits on $\mathcal B_{H\to\text{inv}}$ assuming Higgs -> DM decays are kinematically possible into bounds on the DM - nucleon cross section, which are compared to results from direct detection experiments.
