Development of the ALICE MFT Detector
The Muon Forward Tracker is silicon tracking detector to be installed in ALICE for Data Run 3. Located between the Inner Tracking System and the absorber cone, the MFT is intended to provide clarity in quarkonia decays where it was previously lost to the absorber.
