description As LHC undergoes an upgrade, the ALICE Collaboration is also working on new developments to meet the challenges Run 3 will pose for the detector and the computing facilities. As part of the detector's upgrade, the MFT will be included, to allow new and more precise functionalities and measurements. This project studied the Ideal Tracking Efficiency of the MFT from hits obtained using the simulation executable included in the ALICE O2 Software. By performing the analysis presented, some simulation details were found to not be in agreement with documentation or not working properly, and an ideal efficiency of up to 98\% for the MFT was obtained.
