Search for the production of four top quarks using the ATLAS detector

We present the search for the production of four top quarks using the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The $p p \to t \bar{t} t \bar{t}$ process is very rare, with a theoretical cross-section of about 10 fb at 13 TeV. The production of four top quarks is very sensitive to several scenarios beyond the Standard Model, including EFT interpretations. Two searches are performed in the single-lepton and same-charge dilepton channels and their results are combined.
