description To perform Van der Meer scans at the LHC, the experimental collaborations have to supply a text file containing a command sequence specifying the beam positions required. Until now these had to be made by hand and sent by email, both very tedious and error-prone procedures. This project has been about developing a web-based application that addresses the process by combining both tasks into one simple UI that fits in a single browser window. By integrating GitLab into the application the distribution of files can be done directly from the application by accessing a global repository. The application also features a dynamic code editor that recognises errors, auto-generates line numbers, and has structure sensitive auto-completion.
