Sumario:With the large amount of data collected by both ATLAS and CMS, many searches have started to measure the total and differential cross sections of a number of rare top-quark processes, such as the production of single top quarks or the production top quarks in association with a vector boson. These processes have also started to be a non-negligible background for many new physics searches. In this context, the Monte-Carlo modelling of these processes and their systematic uncertainties has become a important topic over the last years. In this talk, I will review how these processes are modelled in ATLAS and in CMS, as well as how the modelling systematic uncertainties are estimated. I will also present new unfolded MC/data distributions, and compare the modelling from various MC generators.
