A LARGE ION COLLIDER EXPERIMENT (ALICE) - TRACKING CHARGED PARTICLES
Charged particles (electrons, pions, kaons, protons, etc.) produce electric signals in the detectors. Computer algorithms reconstruct their trajectories. The main tracking detectors of the ALICE experiment are the Inner Tracking System and the Time Projection Chamber.
