<p>In this talk, you’ll get a look inside the world of data breaches based on his experiences dealing with billions of breached records. You’ll see what’s motivating hackers, how they’re gaining access to data and how organisations are dealing with the aftermath of attacks. Most importantly, it will help you contextualise these incidents and understand both what these attacks actually look like and how to defend against them in your organisation.</p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span><span>Troy Hunt is an independent Australian security expert and trainer at Pluralsight, specialising is software and web security, and in data breaches. He is the person behind "Have I Been Pwned" (HIBP), a free service that aggregates data breaches and helps people and organizations establish if they've been impacted. Troy is a frequent speaker at major international events, and has even testified before US Congress on the impact of data breaches. He is also a Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and Most Valuable Professional (MVP), both titles of recognition rather than permanent roles.</span></span></p> |
