NA62 - THE SEARCH FOR DARK MATTER

On the top of the Lambda-CDM model, one can speculate that dark matter and ordinary matter were interacting not only gravitationally at the very first stages of the universe when the high temperature allowed the two of them to communicate. Such speculation allows scientists to accurately predict the strength of this interaction and build a model to predict its nature. This gives us a hint as to where to look for this missing piece of the Standard Model.
