Search for high-mass resonances decaying into leptonic final states using the ATLAS detector

Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict new phenomena which decay to well isolated, high-pt leptons. Sumario:Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict new phenomena which decay to well isolated, high-pt leptons. Searches for new physics models with these signatures are performed using the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The ATLAS experiment collected 139 fb-1 of data with 13 TeV $pp$ colliding energy during 2015 to 2018 (Run 2), that is available for physics analyses. In this article, the results to search for high-mass resonances decaying into leptonic final states with 139 fb-1 of full Run 2 dataset as well as the combination analysis with 36.1 fb-1 and prospects for HL-LHC are reported.
