ODF Advocacy Project and experiences migrating organisations to LibreOffice

Use of ODF guarantees access to your data forever, ensuring that data can be transferred between different computers and operating systems, without having to worry about vendor lock-in or license fees.</span></span></p> <p><strong><span><span>About the speaker</span></span></strong></p> <p>Italo Vignoli is <span><span>Chair of the ODF Advocacy Open Project at OASIS, </span></span>an alumni director at Open Source Initiative, a founding member of The Document Foundation and Associazione LibreItalia, and the Chairman Emeritus of the latter.</p> <p><span><span>He also has extended experience in migrating organisations to LibreOffice.</span></span></p>
