Measurement of associated Higgs boson production with a top-quark-antiquark pair in the \ensuremath{\text{H}\to \text{b}\overline{\text{b}}}~decay channel at CMS

Sumario: | The measurement of Higgs boson production in association with a top-quark-antiquark pair (\ensuremath{\text{t}\overline{\text{t}}\text{H}}) offers a direct tree-level probe of the coupling of the Higgs boson to top quarks. In the Standard Model, this coupling is expected to be of order unity, and it is therefore of special interest. This article summarizes a measurement of \ensuremath{\text{t}\overline{\text{t}}\text{H}}~production in the \ensuremath{\text{H}\to \text{b}\overline{\text{b}}}~decay channel using $41.5\,$fb$^{-1}$ of data recorded by the CMS detector in 2017. In addition, results of a combination with a measurement using $35.9\,$fb$^{-1}$ of CMS data recorded in 2016 are presented. |
