Spontanous discussion in the corridor

Mick Storr, Giuseppe and Maria Fidecaro, Eric Mcintosh and Letizia Diamante, a CERN press officer, in a spontaneous discussion in the corridor about CERN's first Ferranti Mercury computer. Eric Mcintosh had never worked with the Ferranti, he had worked with a very similar GEC machine in the UK before coming to CERN. To every bodies surprise and delight he opened his precious Macbook and rather quickly found a dozen lines of original handwritten code for 'programming' the machine.
