Sumario: | A charm cross section measurement test beam was conducted in July 2018 in preparation for the SHiP experiment. It combined emulsion, pixel, SciFi, drift tube and RPC detectors as well as a magnet to observe charm decays. The pixel detector, its spatial reconstruction, time reconstruction and energy reconstruction were simulated in FairShip using GEANT4. The simulation results were studied, compared to expectations, used to create tracks and compared to data. |
