Sumario:The ForwArd Search ExpeRiment at the LHC (FASER) is assembled on the surface in Building 887. FASER will be placed in the side tunnel TI12, 480 m downstream from the ATLAS detector at point 1 during LS2. The TI12 tunnel was formerly used to connect the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) to the Large Electron–Positron (LEP) Collider at CERN’s Meyrin site, but currently this part of tunnel is empty and unused.
