| Sumario: | ELISA (Experimental Linac for Surface Analysis), one of the first compact proton accelerators, is a small accelerator built to be used in the Science Gateway exhibition. ELISA will not be a simple mock-up or demonstrator. This mini proton accelerator, with an end energy of 2 MeV, is a working accelerator and will perform real PIXE (Proton Induced X-ray Emission) analysis for scientific purpose. |
