Sumario:Effective field theory parameters are constrained in a combination of a measurement of $H\rightarrow WW^*$ in gluon-fusion and vector-fusion production modes with differential results on $WW$ diboson production in the 0-jet channel. The combination uses the likelihood function obtained in the signal strength fit of the Higgs measurement together with the unfolded differential cross-sections extracted for the $WW$ process which partially overlapp with the control regions used in the Higgs analysis. This note therefore highlights how such combinations can be carried out technically and is a stepping stone for more global EFT combinations. Both measurements are based on 36.1~fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC at $\sqrt{s}=$13 TeV. The combination constrains 22 CP-even Wilson coefficients in the SMEFT framework.
