Sumario:The LHCb experiment at CERN has produced many intriguing results, collectively called "flavour anomalies". They hint towards unexpected quark to muon transitions. LHCb is now undergoing a major upgrade. Simultaneously, The Belle II experiment has come online. These are exciting times for quark flavour physics. I will review the most important results from the LHCb experiment and put them in a more general perspective.
