ATLAS: Update on CP-Violation Measurements in Bs to J/psi phi Decay
Recent measurement of the time-dependent CP violating weak phase in $B_s^{0}\rightarrow J/\psi \phi$ decay using proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to integrated luminosity of 80.0 fb$^{-1}$ is presented. In this analysis,...

Sumario: | Recent measurement of the time-dependent CP violating weak phase in $B_s^{0}\rightarrow J/\psi \phi$ decay using proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to integrated luminosity of 80.0 fb$^{-1}$ is presented. In this analysis, apart from the CP-violating phase, $\phi_{s}$, the width difference, $\Delta\Gamma_s$, between the $B_s$ meson mass eigenstates and the average decay width, $\Gamma_s$, are the other measured parameters. The measured value of CP-violating phase is $\phi_{s}$ = -0.087 $\pm$ 0.036 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.021 (syst.) rad. |
