(V+)jets measurements with ATLAS and CMS

(V+)jets measurements will be presented, with some focus on the impact of the theory uncertainties on the performance studies, the impact for the measurements themselves, as well as in phenomenological applications based on data/theory comparisons (e.g. for the extraction of PDFs and alpha_S etc.). Some special emphasis will be given to observables where data/theory tensions are currently present, together with some hints to their possible origin(s). The relevance of the correlations between different phase-space regions for a given theory uncertainty, as well as between various components of the theory uncertainties, will be discussed.
