description Coefficients of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory are constrained in a combined interpretation of differential cross-section measurements of $WW$ and $WZ$ production in leptonic final states, four-lepton production, and the production of a leptonically decaying $Z$ boson in vector-boson-fusion topologies. The measurements are based on 36-139 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV. The interpretation is performed using a combined likelihood function that takes into account experimental uncertainties and their correlation as well as theoretical uncertainties on Standard Model predictions. Linear combinations of Warsaw basis coefficients are constrained, both in a linearized model and in one that includes quadratic dimension-six contributions. The effect of 33 operators that affect the measurements is simulated and 15 sensitive directions in parameters space are constrained simultaneously. No significant deviations from the Standard Model expectation are found. This note highlights how such combinations can be carried out technically and is a stepping stone for more global effective field theory combinations.
