Status of Cancer and Radiation Therapy with a focus on N. Macedonia

This project involves discussing the current state-of-the-art and use of radiation therapy in treatment of cancer patients with a focus on North Macedonia. It includes not only the number of patients that were diagnosed with cancer in 2012, 2018 and 2020 in North Macedonia, but also the cancer mortality rate over time in this country. It examines and surveys which modalities are currently available and how and when they are used, and the advantages and disadvantages of the various treatments used in North Macedonia and possible future development of a new modality called hadron therapy.
