Sumario: | The Radiation Protection assessments regularly involve the prediction of residual ambient dose equivalent rates with dedicated codes coupled to FLUKA and the prediction of the activation of components. For these calculations, binned luminosity data has to be supplied as input. The investigation of several binning strategies with respect to luminosity profiles of the LHC for Run 3 and the relevant cool-down times during TS, YETS and Long Shutdowns is of high importance. |
