description Precise track reconstruction is one of the most important ingredients to obtain optimal measurements for collider experiments such as for the proposed high energy electron--positron collider Compact Linear Collider (CLIC). Conformal tracking is a tracking strategy using a cellular automaton based reconstruction algorithm in a conformal mapped plane. The inclusion of timing information to particle track reconstruction can mitigate background and improve tracking performance. During the project a more realistic reconstructed hit time from simulated hits was developed and the use of single-hit time particle information was investigated for the conformal tracking software.
