Sumario:The search for very rare events is an alternative way to discover new particles or new phenomena in physics. CERN is therefore developing an ambitious search program in this field, in parallel to its collider program. Based on the liquid argon (LAr) time projection chamber (TPC) technology, new experiments have been recently proposed to understand the mysteries of the neutrino particles (DUNE, the international Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment) as well as to discover particles that could explain the presence of the dark matter in the Universe (DarkSide-20k). The CERN Neutrino Platform is heavily involved in this programme. This internship is done online due to the COVID situation. For DarkSide-20k, an evaluation of the contamination coming from the calibration pipe using Monte Carlo is performed. For DUNE, a procedure to evaluate the electron lifetime from Purity Monitor data is developed.
