Exclusive $\gamma\gamma\rightarrow WW$ at ATLAS

In this talk, the recent observation of the photon-induced production of 𝑊-boson pairs, $\gamma\gamma\rightarrow WW$, at the ATLAS detector is presented, in which the background-only hypothesis was rejected with a significance of $8.4\sigma$ and a cross-section of $3.13 \pm 0.31~\text{(stat.)} \pm 0...
