Radiation Field Study in ATLAS: Timepix measurements vs Geant4 simulations
New methods to characterize radiation in the ATLAS experiment have been developed using Timepix detectors. Measurements of total ionizing dose (TID) and charged particle fluences at different locations in the experiment are used to benchmark Geant4 simulations.
