An incorrect model for this decay could impact both the efficiency of the signal selection as a function of the phase space as well as the distributions of the variables used in the extraction of the signal yield. The impact that the corrected $\Lambda_c^+ \rightarrow p^+K^-\pi^+$ model has on signal selection efficiency and the templates used in the extraction of signal yield is also discussed. Furthermore, the effect of new physics in the $\Lambda_b^0 \rightarrow \Lambda_c^+\mu^-\nu^+_\mu$ decay on the phase space variables of $\Lambda_c^+ \rightarrow p^+K^-\pi^+$ decays is presented.
