Sumario:We present recent results on searches for a singly charged Higgs boson from the CMS experiment. The searches are based on proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. Various production and decay modes of a singly charged Higgs boson in two-Higgs-doublet models and the Georgi-Machacek model were investigated. No statistically significant evidence of a singly charged Higgs boson was found, and upper limits were set on the production and decay rate of a singly charged Higgs boson in each search channel.
