Sumario: | Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider, with 140/fb of proton proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, has produced over 10^8 top quarks. The large sample has enabled precise measurements of the inclusive top quark production cross sections, as well as new measurements in previously unobserved kinematic regimes. In this contribution, precision measurements are presented, with emphasis on the recent measurements in the boosted regime, where the top quarks are produced with a transverse momentum that exceeds the top quark mass significantly. Dedicated reconstruction schemes where the hadronic top quark decay is captured in a single large-R jet. Extensive use of in-situ techniques enables precise measurements of top quark production rates and top quark properties, extending the ATLAS top quark precision physics program well into the TeV regime. |
