Sumario:A search for heavy resonances in the four-top-quark final state has been performed with 139 fb proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV. The search provides a unique way to probe resonances that are produced in association with top quarks (ttZ’) and exclusively decay to a boosted top-quark pair, resulting in a four top quark final state. The resonance candidate is reconstructed using a pair of jets with radius parameter R=1.0, targeting the fully hadronic decay of the resonance. No significant deviation from the Standard Model prediction is observed in the resonance candidate invariant mass spectrum in final states with an electron or muon and a large multiplicity of jets. The results are interpreted in terms of a phenomenological model describing the production of top-philic resonances, assuming narrow widths of the resonances.
