Renaissance of Nuclear Physics at the LHC

High-energy Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments provide a unique laboratory for nuclear and hadron physics studies that have a wide breadth of possible applications to astrophysics. This article summarizes these truly interdisciplinary studies.
