Sumario:The discovery of the Higgs boson marks the triumph of the Standard Model of fundamental interactions. However, despite the unquestionable success, the theory contains no convincing explanation for dark matter and dark energy, asymmetry between matter and antimatter and other important phenomena that characterize our universe. The article discusses the proposal and the physics program of the FCC, Future Circular Colliders, a system of new high-energy accelerators which should be built at CERN as heir to LHC. Through the combination of precision measurements of the Standard Model main parameters and the direct search for new particles or interactions, FCC looks like the most promising scientific infrastructure in the quest for New Physics.
