Sumario:In this study we aim for optimization of pion beam acceptance of out-going particles from a magnetic horn, and later build a pion transport line with optimized beam acceptance that allows for the separation of pions and kaons, which are then directed into nuSTORM and ENUBET experiments for parallel running both of these facilities. The current design of pion transport line is built using only three element types: quadrupole magnets for a FODO lattice to focus the beam, dipole magnets for generating an x-axis dispersion to extract 5 GeV/c pions from the beam of kaons and pions with designed momentum 6.25 GeV/c and the momentum spread of each type of particle beam of 10%. We find out that it is sufficient to generate a right amount of dispersion with a lattice consisting of five alternating dipole-quadrupole magnets.
