Sumario:The EU-funded project RADNEXT (RADiation facility Network for the EXploration of effects for indusTry and research), kicked-off in June 2021, aims at increasing and optimizing the access of researchers to a network of irradiation facilities to test state-of-the-art microelectronic components to be used in areas such as aerospace, automotive, the Internet of Things, nuclear dismantling, High Energy Physics and medicine among others. One aspect of this optimization will be based on a common entry-point to the RADNEXT irradiation facility network (Transnational Access web portal) in which the users can define, explain, and request their irradiation campaigns. Based on the CERN Irradiation facilities database, developed by the IRRAD team in EP-DT and operational since 2017, the first part of my summer student project was to extend this database with additional information about the RADNEXT facilities. In the second part, a prototype of the web portal was set up to assist users in the submission of their request for experiments.
