description The development of a model of the beam cavity interaction in the CERN PS. The model enables computing the evolution of the cavity voltage, generator current and RF power requirements over time for different beam, cavity, and RF feedback parameters. This project includes the mathematical modelling of the beam cavity generator interaction in the PS and of the PS RF feedbacks. After implementation of the derived equations, the model is first applied to the 10 MHz cavities and multiple benchmarks are realised to gain confidence in the model. The main results are then discussed and the effect of some parameters on these results are analysed. Finally, the model is also applied to the 40 and 80 MHz cavities in the PS.
