Sumario: | The prospects for the study of the production of a pair of Higgs bosons, where one decays into two photons and the other one into a bottom quark-antiquark pair, are presented for center-of-mass energy of 14 TeV at the High-Luminosity LHC. The analysis is developed using a parametric simulation of the PhaseII upgraded CMS detector and optimized for an integrated luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$. The projected statistical sensitivity of this decay channel for the standard model di-Higgs signal is of about $1.8\sigma$, the highest among the decay channels considered for di-Higgs searches. Projections are also presented for the measurement of the Higgs boson self-coupling $\lambda_3$. |
