Ultra-peripheral physics with ATLAS

In this talk we present recent results using ultraperipheral heavy ions collisions data collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2018 at $\sqrt{\bar{s}_{N N}}=5.02 \mathrm{TeV}$. The talk cover light-by-light scattering fiducial and differential cross section measurement and search for axion li...

description In this talk we present recent results using ultraperipheral heavy ions collisions data collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2018 at $\sqrt{\bar{s}_{N N}}=5.02 \mathrm{TeV}$. The talk cover light-by-light scattering fiducial and differential cross section measurement and search for axion like particles using combined 2015 and 2018 data-set, the exclusive dimuon production measurement using 2015 data and two-particle long-range azimuthal correlation measured in photonuclear collisions using $1.7 \mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ of data collected in 2018 which is compared with results obtained in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions for similar multiplicity ranges.
