Testing the EFT paradigm with top quark final states in pp collisions at LHC with ATLAS and CMS

Sumario:With the absence of the direct detection of new physics, the two experiments ATLAS and CMS shifted their physics program towards the interpretation of precision measurements in the context of effective field theories. The latter describe indirect effects in spectra measured at the LHC that originate from physics manifested at currently unreachable energy scales. In this report, an overview of new analyses performed the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations in the field of top quark physics is given.
