Computer equipment donation to the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunication

CERN representatives met with a Lebanese delegation to celebrate the shipping of donated computer servers to Lebanon following a fundraising campaign for the High-Performance Computing for Lebanon (HPC4L) project. Present were the Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of the Lebanese Republic to the UNOG, Rayan Saiid. From CERN : Enrica Porcari (Information Technology Department Head), John Ellis (Sharing Knowledge Foundation), Joachim Mnich (Director for Research and Computing) and Martin Gastal (advisor for relations with Lebanon) standing among the servers.
