TORCH Reconstruction

TORCH is a new time of flight detector system based Cherenkov light emitted by tracks and imaged on a photodetector plane. This note presents a new method for TORCH event reconstruction, resulting in a fully analytical PDF on the TORCH detector plane. It is expected to lead to substantially faster and computationally more efficient event reconstruction than previous methods, which is critical for the future deployment of TORCH in a high-luminosity environment.
