Installation of the new MAPP subdetector at the MoEDAL experiment
Installation of the Monopole Apparatus for Penetrating Particles (MAPP) is a new subdetector at the MoEDAL experiment in UA83, a bypass tunnel adjacent to IP8 (LHC Point 8). The MoEDAL experiment is looking for a hypothetical particle with magnetic charge: the magnetic monopole.
