Sumario: | The Precision Proton Spectrometer of the CMS experiment (PPS) collected more than 110 fb$^{-1}$ of data over the course of the LHC Run 2. This note illustrates the key features of the PPS alignment and optics calibrations developed during this period, the proton reconstruction procedure as well as the detector efficiency and the performance of the PPS simulation. The reconstruction and simulation are validated using a sample of (semi-)exclusive di-lepton events. |
