Sumario:Exploring the Higgs potential and electroweak symmetry breaking is one of the main goals of the LHC. Higgs pair production (HH) provides experimental access to the shape of Higgs potential as it is the only direct probe of the Higgs self-coupling in proton-proton collisions. In 2021, ATLAS combined new results using the full Run 2 dataset (139/fb) from both 𝑏𝑏 ̄𝜏+𝜏− and 𝑏𝑏 ̄𝛾𝛾 channels to produce the most stringent limits on Standard Model (SM) HH production and the Higgs self-coupling to date. These full Run 2 analyses and their combination have recently been extrapolated to 3000/fb at 14 TeV. This talk will discuss the latest Full Run 2 combined results and our projected sensitivity to HH production at the HL-LHC.
